If you were watching the BBC News Channel earlier you may have spotted this on the early release of tomorrow's (Wednesday 25 May 2011) Daily Mirror front page...

All looks reasonably ok there, but if you take a closer look at the Natalie Cassidy story on the left you'd have seen this...

Hopefully you can see under the 'exclusive' heading the byline "by XXXXXXXXXXXXX". Now, what could that mean?

Is the article's author using a template and they'll fill their name in afterwards?

Is the article so shockingly bad the author doesn't want to be named (maybe even taken out a superinjunction to prevent their name being made public)?

Maybe, even, the article is so exclusive because it's been made up and they need a made up name to go with it. I wouldn't want to take a guess.
